Tuff Coat Rubberized Non-Skid Marine Submersible Deck Coating – GallonTuff Coat Rubberized Non-Skid Coating is a single component, flexible, water-based non-skid coating designed to create a long-lasting, slip-resistant surface in wet or dry environments. This updated formulation is created through a unique process of cross-linking urethanes, acrylics, co-polymers, and recycled rubber granules to produce an attractive, durable, impact-resistant finish.Ideal for boats, docks, ramps, deck surfaces, splash pads, kiddie pools, wave pools, spray parks, restroom floors, natatoriums, and other areas requiring added slip resistance, Tuff Coat provides a flexible non-slip surface that can be used in or out of water. Once applied, the finish dries to approximately 30-35 mils thick, helping hide surface imperfections while improving existing non-skid finishes for added safety. This low-odor, one-part coating is exceptionally easy to apply and cleans up with soap and water. For best results, apply using a Tuff Coat roller or low-pressure hopper spray gun. Tuff Coat is chemical and UV resistant, highly durable, impact resistant, and made with recycled rubber granules for a comfortable, non-abrasive textured finish.Features & Benefits:Single component, flexible, water-based non-skid coatingCreated by cross-linking urethanes, acrylics, co-polymers, and recycled rubber granulesProvides a durable, impact-resistant, non-slip surfaceDesigned for use in wet or dry environmentsIdeal for boats, docks, ramps, deck surfaces, splash pads, kiddie pools, wave pools, spray parks, restroom floors, natatoriums, and moreFlexible finish dries to approximately 30-35 mils thickHelps hide significant surface imperfectionsImproves existing non-skid finishes for added safetyExceptionally easy one-part applicationLow odor formulaSoap and water clean-upChemical and UV resistantHighly durable and impact resistantHelps prevent slipping and injuryDeadens and absorbs noiseMade with recycled rubber granules for a non-abrasive textureNOTE: Due to the nature of the rubberized granules, the paint texture may vary when appliedCan be applied with a Tuff Coat roller or low-pressure hopper spray gunDries to a quick, easy-to-clean finishWater-Based & Eco FriendlyRecycled High-Grip Rubber GranulesUV & Chemical ResistantSingle Component – No MixingSimple Do-it-Yourself ApplicationApplication Specs:Temp: 40F min. – 120F max. air, surface, and materialRelative Humidity: 85% maximumMethod: Tuff Coat roller or low-pressure hopper spray gunFinish: Matte textured finishAppearance: Textured colored liquidRecommended dry film thickness: Approximately 30-35 milsCoverage: Approximately 40-45 sq. ft. per gallon in 2 coatsClean-up: Soap and waterDrying Schedule at 50% RH, 72FTo touch: Approx. 1 hourTo top coat: Approx. 1-2 hoursTo cure: Approx. 24 hours-5 days for a full chemical cureApplication Method: Roller or low-pressure hopper spray gunApplication Temperature: 40F or higherCoats: 2 coats for light traffic | 3 coats for heavy trafficHow to Apply Tuff Coat Rubberized Deck CoatingPrior to applying Tuff Coat, stir thoroughly before use and stir periodically during application to maintain the rubber granules in suspension.
